Attention Livestock Exhibitors, CEA’s and AST’s
The Hill Country District Junior Livestock Show will proceed with our show. Please note our schedule has been modified. As the “barn talk” circulates, we are unsure what to expect on entry numbers this year, but know our updated schedule is the friendliest to our exhibitors, their families, and advisors. After the initial entry deadline, if we experience entry numbers that exceed the capacity of our facilities, we will be forced to adjust the schedule again to accommodate the capacity issues.
The updated show schedule is posted on our website.
Each exhibiting family will be given a wristband and two additional ones for parents/guardians. Face masks will be required at ALL times. Social distancing in the stands will be required as well.

The Kerr County sale will be a Premium Auction only. All Kerr County exhibitors will be required to take their animals home after their respective shows are over.  No animals will be able to be floored.

For the HCDJLS show, placing market animals that make the sale and are entered into the auction become the property of the HCDJLSA. The sale will be a Premium Auction only.

A Premium Auction is selling the hard work and efforts of each exhibitor and not the show animal.  Each exhibitor will still walk through the auction ring and receive their bid price (minus auction fees) just as they have in years past.

Please understand that we continually monitor the numerous factors facing our event, but we are dedicated to providing a positive outlet for all our youth participants.
Please be patient as we work through this season.
